Membership Organisation - Legal are looking for a Finance & Membership Coordinator (28 hours)

Hybrid Working model: 2 days in Bankside Office, London, 2 Days Home

Salary £26K-£28K (full time equivalent)

Permanent Role, Part Time (28 hours) normal office hours are 9 - 5.30pm

Job Purpose: The Finance & Membership Coordinator oversees the organisation's financial records, systems and processes, including bookkeeping and record keeping, and all related financial and office administration. A key element of the role is to ensure high-quality customer service; the coordinator also ensures the member data is accurate on the database.

Duties:

  • Processing new membership and renewals applications
  • Managing payments including online payments, credit card, direct debits and BACs payments.
  • Support the joining process, ensuring new memberships are administered accurately and joining processes are followed correctly.
  • Ensure membership renewals are administered correctly, members are invoiced for the correct amount, payments are managed and processed correctly and promptly, and outstanding payments are followed up on.
  • Support the external accountant by ensuring ad hoc events and payment invoices can be raised

The successful candidate will be an experienced Finance & Membership Coordinator with

* Proven knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

* Knowledge of Sage 50 and Microsoft Access

* Knowledge of bookkeeping

* Proven experience in a customer services or administrative role

* Strong numerical and data management skills
