Job description

Who are we?

At UniQuest we truly believe that our people help us to deliver the passion, intelligence and commitment required to meet our university partners' needs. You will be joining a talented team, committed to providing outstanding student engagement and conversion solutions for universities and their future students. We’re passionate about strengthening our capabilities and expanding our global influence, whilst changing the lives of young people through higher education. We are part of Keystone Education Group, a leading Ed-tech brand within Higher Education.

About the job

After a period of sustained growth, UniQuest is excited to add a new role within our Technical Solutions team. Data is the lifeblood of our company and working with our customers to devise ways to automatically receive their data is central to the role. Working closely with our Technical Implementation Lead, you will be responsible for gathering requirements for data integrations, platform enhancements and other projects. You should be comfortable providing both written and verbal feedback in a customer friendly way to ensure that all requirements around quality, efficiency and compliance are met.

You will be an internal and external facing contributor to a variety of projects helping Universities to overcome challenges in student recruitment. You will be responsible for gathering and documenting functional requirements so that our Platform and Development teams can design and implement technical solutions. This will be a busy role, requiring a disciplined and methodical approach. As our teams work predominately on the Salesforce platform, previous experience with this will be beneficial to understanding the way we work and what we deliver.

As you will be working remotely most of the time, you should be self-driven, proactive, detail oriented, inquisitive, analytical, and resourceful. We regularly meet virtually as a team and collaborate throughout the day but the ability to complete tasks without regular supervision is essential. Previous experience with platforms such as Jitterbit, Zapier, Form Assembly and Akero and knowledge of ETL integrations is essential.

We are looking for someone who can bring a breadth of knowledge and experience, with innate curiosity, to our growing business, ensuring our solutions continue to meet the requirements of our partner base in a robust and scalable way. In turn, we offer a supportive and open work environment, with fantastic and ambitious colleagues, and training and development opportunities to help you in your growth in this important role.

We value intelligent effort. To be an effective team member you will demonstrate:

  • excellent communication – all kinds and all directions
  • analysing problems and asking thoughtful questions
  • working independently to a high quality
  • prioritising intelligently and delivering efficiently
  • working with a positive and collaborative attitude

What will you get in return?

Our people are important to us. At UniQuest, you can expect to join an agile and rapidly growing company, working with a team of welcoming and experienced professionals, passionate about our partners and students growth. We pride ourselves in recognising and rewarding our brilliant staff. We think differently about how we work, empowering our people, supporting, and encouraging them to develop within their roles and beyond.

Our employee reward package includes a competitive salary, bonus scheme, life assurance and pension scheme, as well our added extras of enhanced annual leave, long service awards, employee discounts via Perkbox, wellness support via WorkSpa, flexible working and regular company events throughout the year – even during Covid we found a way to get together as a team! We are committed to equal opportunities, encouraging applications from candidates from diverse backgrounds.

If successful, you can join us in delivering on our continued commitment to deliver the passion, intelligence and commitment to meet our partners’ needs and in return you can expect to receive all the commitment, benefits and support you need to succeed in your role.

Where will you be working?

UniQuest is based in the UK - we are currently a remote working business. This position will be working remotely in the UK but with opportunities to meet your team and wider company at various points throughout the year.
