Job description
Reporting to the Group Directors, the key responsibilities of the Finance Manager will include:
· Preparing monthly financial statements that encompass cash flow analysis, profit and loss reports, and balance sheets, serving as a comprehensive financial brief for the Directors.
· Liaising with the directors in managing the financial budgets around all businesses.
· Maintaining financial equilibrium by consistently balancing control accounts, conducting thorough account reconciliations, and diligently investigating any variances that occur.
· Review of internal processes, identifying, recommending and implementing effective changes to improve the standard of reporting both within the UK entity but across all European regions
· Preparation of daily, weekly, monthly and annual financial reports.
· Production of management accounts for multiple entities within the business to include prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations and profit and loss as well as producing reports for the board.
· Production of monthly management accounts.
· Maintain dashboards across the various businesses
· Preparing financial statements showing business income and expenditure.
· Manage a small team of bookkeepers
Experience:
- Ideally you would have worked with multiple businesses before.
- Strong varied finance experience including production of management accounts and transactional finance.
- Previous hands-on experience in a management role.
- Must hold relevant accountancy qualifications.
- Strong interpersonal skills including excellent communication.
- Be able to support team members and work together.
- You must have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels with both financial and non-financial management.
