Venture Recruitment Partners are delighted to be working with an Logistics business, based in Southampton, who are seeking to recruit a Finance Manager.
Salary 50-60,000 + benefits
Hybrid working - 2-3 days a week in the office
Key Responsibilities include:
- Continued improvements including merger process of group reporting
- Assist in development and implementation of new ERP and associated reporting
- Daily cash control and forecasting on rolling 13 week basis
- Prepare group cash reporting
- Effective accounting, general ledger processes and posting journals
- Produce balance sheet reconciliations and maintain schedules
- Produce the draft monthly management accounts pack and carry out the initial review with supporting commentary and variance analysis for the Financial Controller's review
- Monitor debtors across the group and work with Credit Control department
- Monitor the creditors ledger, reviewing old balances and ensuring payments are in line with internal processes
- Line management division between existing staff of financial team including objective setting, development and performance monitoring
- Ensure accuracy of the payroll
Key Skills and Experience include:
- ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or equivalent, with 1-2 years post qualification experience desirable
- Possesses excellent IT skills and experienced in using Microsoft Office, in particular Excel
- Proficient with operating systems - Microsoft Business Central or Access Dimensions (Desirable)
- Experience operating with SMEs
- Trained in an Accountancy Practice
