Venture Recruitment Partners are delighted to be working with an Logistics business, based in Southampton, who are seeking to recruit a Finance Manager.

Salary 50-60,000 + benefits

Hybrid working - 2-3 days a week in the office

Key Responsibilities include:

• Continued improvements including merger process of group reporting
• Assist in development and implementation of new ERP and associated reporting
• Daily cash control and forecasting on rolling 13 week basis
• Prepare group cash reporting
• Effective accounting, general ledger processes and posting journals
• Produce balance sheet reconciliations and maintain schedules
• Produce the draft monthly management accounts pack and carry out the initial review with supporting commentary and variance analysis for the Financial Controller's review
• Monitor debtors across the group and work with Credit Control department
• Monitor the creditors ledger, reviewing old balances and ensuring payments are in line with internal processes
• Line management division between existing staff of financial team including objective setting, development and performance monitoring
• Ensure accuracy of the payroll

Key Skills and Experience include:

• ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or equivalent, with 1-2 years post qualification experience desirable
• Possesses excellent IT skills and experienced in using Microsoft Office, in particular Excel
• Proficient with operating systems - Microsoft Business Central or Access Dimensions (Desirable)
• Experience operating with SMEs
• Trained in an Accountancy Practice
