About the role
The overall purpose of the post is to be responsible for delivering the department’s research and enterprise administration. The postholder facilitates grant and funding administration, consultancy activity, and general management and monitoring of current and proposed research projects. This role is offered as a 12-month fixed-term contract and is open to UCL employees on a secondment basis. A job description and person specification can be accessed at the bottom of this page. About you
The postholder must have excellent knowledge of research funding processes and regulations within a HE/research environment, and experience of providing administrative assistance in the preparation of research funding applications. They must have proven experience of using online financial systems such as MyFinance and Worktribe, as well as the ability to set and meet tight individual and organisational deadlines and to manage own workload through effective prioritising, time management and organisational skills.
