Head of Finance – FinTech Payments

Talentedge are exclusively working with a fast-growth FinTech payments business as they search for an experience individual to lead their finance team. As the Head of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in the organisation, being the sole person responsible for overseeing and managing all financial aspects of our business operations. In this role you will also be responsible for the financial strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance and securing the businesses long-term stability. This position offers a unique chance to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all accounting and financial operations, including financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Establish and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, regulatory bodies, and financial institutions.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Own the transactional (AP/AR) finance function.

The ideal candidate will have:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with at least 4 years PQE.
• Previous experience working in a FinTech business is essential, payments ideal.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently is a must.
