Role overview
We are seeking an individual with 3 to 5 years of experience in Finance to oversee the financial operations of Sentinel Capital and Maia Property. This role offers exposure to a wide range of financial and reporting responsibilities.
Job Description:
Transaction Support
- Liaising with Fund, Property Managers and Asset Managers to understand underlying transactions and ensure appropriate financial operation of the investments
- Preparation of accounting memos for Manager’s review based on understanding of key terms of deals
- Oversight of the on-boarding of assets
Financial Reporting
- Overseeing and managing the company’s accounting function
- Ensure timely management of financial reporting across the portfolio
- Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of company’s financial records
- Providing financial reports and interpreting financial information
- Present financial information to senior members of the team
- Ensuring accuracy of financial information presented in investor reports
- Oversight of fund reporting timetables
Candidate Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Finance and accounting
- Motivated, self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- IT literate and fully proficient in MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
