We currently have a new career opportunity to join us as a Accounts Contract Administrator. This position will be based 3 days a week on site at our clients premises in Kettering and the other 2 days in our offices in Peterborough.
The purpose of this role is to carry out a range of accounts based duties as part of our finance team including cost management, profit analysis
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Weekly/Monthly queries from the client in a timely manner
- Manage any control/cost variations
- Work with the operational team to ensure Cap Ex invoices are raised in an effective time limit
- Manage the project risk register
- Work with the operational team in the identification of variations including pricing and costs,
- Create and improve existing reporting
- Weekly utilisation reports for our client, analysis of inclusive hours etc
- Monthly management reports preparation
Skills & Experience
We value everyone’s skills and experiences but for this role are looking for people who can demonstrate:
- Accountsexperience of working in a similar role ideally within manufacturing or a related industry
- Be able to demonstrate advanced excel skills including pivot tables and formulas
- Strong organisational skills
- Have had previous exposure to nominal ledgers
- Ability to prioritise work to hit deadlines in a fast moving environment
- Exceptional administration skills
Specific Qualifications
- It’s expected that the successful applicant will be educated to a reasonable standard in core subjects
- Likely to have a minimum of AAT level 2
- Strong excel skills
