- Provide challenge to the workstreams to ensure that they are focusing on the right areas and are delivering on the commitments that they’ve made.
- Act as an independent voice for the Director of Change and provide challenge and advice as required.
- Develop great relationships with the Finance leads for the cost lines.
- Work closely with the core Finance team to ensure that all retail cost-impacting projects are captured accurately for the purposes of budgeting and reporting.
- Liaise with the Food Transformation Finance team to ensure that there is an aligned view of performance in the Central Retail team between all key stakeholders.
- The Finance lead within the Retail change team.
- Drive the agenda in the retail change workstream, ensuring that there is financial rigour around the decisions made.
- Act as a key business partner to the Director of Change.
- Act as a key member of the wider Finance team, ensuring that impacts are captured in Budgets and Latest Views at the appropriate time.
- Consolidate and surface information across Central Retail to support wider programme delivery.
- Own, report and align Capital expenditure across Retail, ensuring robust business cases are substantiated and support delivery of priorities in year.

- Qualified accountant
- Commercially aware with a clear focus on driving excellent financial & commercial performance
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of people
- Critical friend and key business partner for the Retail Change team
- High levels of pace, energy and resilience and an ability to deal with ambiguity
- Must have a strong eye for detail and a passion for accuracy
