Description
QED are representing a well-established international law firm who are looking for a Commercial Finance Manager to join their office in either Manchester or Leeds.
As a Commercial Finance Manager you will work with teams operating across our sectors and key client programmes to drive engagement, helping improve performance and to build a trusted business partner relationship with key stakeholders.
You will have access to and work closely with Sector heads and Key Client CRPs as well as the Head of Sectors and Head of Key Client Programmes to provide essential insight and help shape key client and sector strategy as well as to provide sector led pricing support to major tenders.
This is a hands-on role with the opportunity to shape both the role and the approach.
Some duties include:
- Leading and driving Commercial Finance support to both Sector and Key Client programmes within the firm
- Help to co-ordinate & drive support from wider Commercial Finance team across Sectors and key clients.
- Supporting and Reporting to a team of which consists of 1 manager and 2 Analysts.
- Working closely on a day-to-day basis with the Head of Sectors and Head of Client Programmes.
- Helping collect / collate and condense feedback from wider commercial finance team to feed back to Sector heads and to CFO/SP/BDD the key drivers of performance by Sector and the known opportunities and risks.
- To drive the increased use of financial metrics at client and sector level and to embed Key clients
- To work with Sector heads and Key Client CRPs to ensure they understand the drivers of performance and what they can and should be doing to help improve performance and to build a trusted business partner relationship with those key stakeholders.
