Nicholas Bernard Ltd is a fast growing international recruitment business specialised in supplying IT experts for temporary assignments across multiple global locations and industries.
In the last 12 months we have seen over 100% growth in revenue and subsequently we are looking for a Finance Manager to join the team to take ownership of our Finance function.
The role will primarily involve following up and processing information from contractors we have on assignment , ensuring accuracy and on-time payments, creating client invoices and taking ownership of credit control procedures.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring invoices and timesheets are received on time and accurately - this will require ongoing interactions with our contractors on assignment
- Liaising with Contractors to ensure all required documents are in place and with client representatives for sign off of service delivery
- Calculating and ensuring accurate monthly payments based on Timesheets
- Ensuring client invoices are accurate and ensuring on-time payment through credit control activities
- Improving payment processes through enabling technological improvements
- Quarterly Vat Returns
- Employee Payroll Management
- Foreign exchange management
The ideal person for the role will...
- Have excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail
- Have excellent Excel skills
- Have Knowledge of Xero Accounting Software
- Have at least 2 years experience in a similar Finance position or as an accounts assistant
- Be very comfortable with technology to be able to consistently improve the payment processes
- Have good numerical skills
- Be an articulate and a good communicator – both written and spoken - with an ability to build strong relationships with external stakeholders
- Experience of working with international customers and suppliers across multiple geographical regions and currencies is a bonus
- Fluency in any other European language is a bonus

£35,000-£50,000 per year, depending on experience
