Head of Finance
SALARY - £70,000 - £75,000 plus benefits (£6,525 annual car allowance, bonus, hybrid working)
LOCATION – Coventry or Seaham



COMPANY: We are currently working with a global food manufacturer, who are recruiting a Head of Finance to join their Senior Leadership Team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading business that have been well established for over 70 years.

Supplying to some of the world’s most popular restaurant chains, my client is the market leader in their sector.


DAILY DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Leading the UK Finance team, consisting of the Financial Controller, Commercial Finance Business Partner and Finance Assistants.
• Working closely with the European Board and Senior Leadership Team.
• Building strong relationships with External Auditors and Banking.
• Reporting to the European Finance Director and European CEO on all matters relating to financial performance.
• Overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting and accounting, as per regulatory and legal requirements.
• Owning the budget and leading the forecasting and annual budgeting process.
• Providing insight to commercial tenders in line with the business’ pricing and product strategies.
• Leading and motivating the Finance team to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations.
• Ensuring the implementation of robust financial systems.
  

THE CANDIDATE: The right candidate will have previous experience leading a Finance department within the manufacturing industry.

You must also be commercially minded, as you will be the leading on financial management, strategy, asset management and strategic and commercial goals.

As part of the Senior Leadership Team, a hands on approach is required to deliver the business unit annual plan and 3-year strategy.
