Job description
responsibilities :
-driving to collect and drop off dogs from their homes. Ensuring they are safely transported and in a clean enviroment
-cleaning dogs if needed and returning to the area they are supposed to be in
-safely storing keys needed that day
-walking groups of dogs safely
-ensuring the business is represented well -polite to the public and clients, good animal care, cleaning up after the dogs,ensuring all dogs are under control and safe
requirements-
-proven experience with working with dogs
-driving licence
-animal qualifications preferred
-understanding of dog behaviour
-confident and experienced with all breeds and temprements of dogs and able to confidently walk groups of upto 6 dogs together safely
-fit and active, able to manage walking some dogs on a lead and lifting dogs into van
-good communication skills- some owners will be at home when you arrive
-ability to manage time schedules well, you will be given a guide to follow which will change daily
-happy to walk in all weathers
-live near to selby

I have built the business up over 5 years so it’s very important i find an experienced person i can trust to take over whilst on maternity leave and then to cover part time after this as i want to expand the business. The hours are 9.30-2.30 Mon-Fri, you will need to be at my house daily (Selby) to be given keys and a daily schedule just before you start. You will be self employed and will be paid £11 an hour and will be paid at the end of every month . You will have access to my van which is fully equipped with everything you need during work hours.
