Jackson Hogg are delighted to be supporting a major, multi-site, manufacturing business search for an experienced Finance Manager to join their already established finance function.
Reporting to the divisional FD, the purpose of this role is to act as the finance lead for the given business unit and to complement and enhance the existing finance team, by working closely with other internal and external stakeholders and to provide providing an array of information to support decision making.
Responsibilities will include;
- Responsible for P&L, Balance Sheet & Cash flow for the PSBU
- Generate monthly reporting pack accurately and within group reporting timescales, using HFM, with relevant analysis & commentary alongside monthly variance analysis and resolution
- Provide financial guidance for operations and management teams and develop regular operational reporting
- Work closely with the operational team to define, implement and measure performance improvement plans
- Develop and maintain robust forecasting models for revenue, margin and operational performance and cash flow
- Ownership of forecast, budget, and strategic growth plan for the PSBU
- Support operations and procurement in control and analysis of stock and work in progress with the intention of minimising inventory without compromising customer service
- Involvement with NBO/NPI processes including development of business cases, grant requests, bid reviews, margin analysis and pricing decisions
- Prepare business cases for submission to Group to support major investment plans
- Provide finance support to the site finance team as required
As an effective finance team member, you will be part of a well-regarded finance team, receptive to ideas and possess exceptional communication skills to both interpret and relay key financial information to your stakeholders. You will be able to demonstrate strong analytical and influencing skills to work with other non-finance departments. Exceptional Excel skills are a pre-requisite as well as significant experience of an integrated ERP system, preferably SAP.
Candidates will be fully qualified, either ACCA, CIMA or ACA, and have proven experience within senior finance positions. Large corporate experience is essential to be successful in the role.
