What about your role?

We have an opportunity for a [Finance Manager] to join the Finance function.

[We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager who will control aspects of the Finance function ensuring accurate and timely reporting to internal DHL stakeholders. You will provide accurate information and administrative support to the Operations team and wider DHL for your selected customer(s).]

As a [Finance Manager], your key accountabilities and responsibilities will include the following:

  • [Preparation of weekly accounts and KPIs
  • Management of month-end process and reporting results to multiple stakeholders
  • Preparing budgets, forecasts and targets to identify trends and variances to budgets / forecasts
  • Management of site Finance functions and development of wider Finance team
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure best practice
  • Working closely with Operations Managers in understanding key cost drivers of contract profitability
  • Providing appropriate analysis and recommendations to influence key decisions
  • Reviewing key risks and identifying potential risks
  • Ensuring financial controls are robust and fit for purpose
  • Supporting the Financial Controller / Commercial teams]

What are the requirements?

  • [Proven track record in a similar level role with experience of the above requirements
  • Ability to influence key decision makers at all levels
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting processes and terminology
  • People management experience and excellent communication skills
  • Hold relevant financial qualifications (AAT / CIMA etc.), be training towards them or be qualified by experience]
