Job summary:
As our finance and operations leader you will work directly with the COO and CEO on the company forecast, any financial strategic projects and driving the company's overall efficiency. We have set up a lean team and structure with external service providers and you will manage a small team across finance and operations globally to give a strategic direction as well as drive day to day focus.
In this role you can expect to:
Manage the day-to-day finance and office operations globally;
- Mentoring a small team of around 3
- Overviewing Payroll/AP/AR/Bank through third party providers
- Drive efficiency by changing processes
- Drive office efficiency and experience
Prepare the Reporting & Analysis;
- Producing the group management reports
- Reporting on variance analysis (forecast vs actuals)
- Managing the Cash flow, with scenario analysis
- Ad hoc projects / analysis
Own Statutory Accounts & Compliance;
- Leading the yearly audit - Setting the right processes and controls in advance
- Meeting the tax (VAT, R&D, transfer pricing, etc.) requirements and deadlines
- Being proactive so all compliance matters are in order
Support Strategic projects;
- By spreading financial knowledge across the organisation, facilitating better decision making
- Forecasting, budgeting and other value added projects
- Help implementing and managing the employee options scheme program
- Driving an efficient set up and management of our operational cost
In order to succeed in this role, you will need:
- 4 to 6 years of experience in a Finance department, preferably in a startup / tech environment
- Some exposure to operations department work
- An eagerness to learn and go the extra mile
- Excellence in multitasking and handling different projects simultaneously
- Preferably degree qualified, ideally from a business / numerical background

Salary: £59,000 - £67,000 dependant on experience
