We have an exciting new opportunity for an IT Manager to work here at Thrive Homes! This role will oversee day-to-day activities of IT department ensuring quality delivery of service to achieve maximum customer satisfaction.

The Opportunity
- Oversee day-to-day activities of IT department ensuring quality delivery of service to achieve maximum customer satisfaction.
- Take ownership of IT infrastructure and components, including:
- Internally hosted and cloud hosted services/systems/networks.
- Microsoft stack products and Azure environments.
- User licensing.
- System upgrades
- Back-up management.
- Supporting various line of business systems that are utilised across the organisation.
- Inventory allocation and management
- User hardware procurement and maintenance.
- Manage and oversee appointed Managed Service Provider (MSP), including IT Support/helpdesk, ensuring that Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) are achieved and constantly reviewed.
- Maintain the highest level of cyber security and data protection in line with highest industry standards and audit expectations.
- Represent IT department interests in the support of wider business transformation projects and business as usual (BAU) improvements, with a specific focus on:
- Custom application/PowerApp development
- System integrity and data security.
- Manage annual IT budget, focusing on achieving excellent Value for Money (VFM) at all times.
- Design and report on a range of key performance measures, providing insight and assurance on both cost and performance
- Maintain and update all IT policies and procedures ensuring best practice, covering risk management, business continuity, disaster recovery and essential playbooks.
- Provide leadership, guidance and mentoring to small established internal IT team.
- Work to ‘Future Gaze’ and continuously improve the organisations IT strategy.
- Manage all additional external IT supplier relationships and hold to account as required.
- Take lead on IT communication updates to the Thrive staff.
Requirements
- Ambitious IT Manager or similar seeking a challenging role within and ethical people focused organisation.
- Extensive experience of managing IT Operations, business networks, and security, ideally supported by qualifications e.g. relevant degree, ITIL.
- Working knowledge of networking protocols, switching, routing, firewalls and VPNs.
- Experience of working in a Microsoft stack environment, including Office365.
- Excellent ERP/CRM applications knowledge, ideally Microsoft Dynamics, including development of custom applications and PowerApps.
- Proven track record of continual improvement and achieving VFM.
- Someone who always strives to deliver excellent customer service.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Your ability to role model our core behaviours is as important as technical expertise.
- You must be able to support a culture founded in trust and respect for everyone.
