Are you an experienced Finance professional looking to join a global leader in education?
This well-established and impressive organisation are looking for a driven, friendly, and positive Assistant Finance Manager to join their wonderful team to support the day to day running of the finance function.
Please note this is a temporary position paid on a weekly PAYE basis. This role will start immediately, so sadly candidates with a lengthy notice period cannot be considered.
Due to the nature of the business, you will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS check, please only apply should you be comfortable with this.
Temporary Assistant Finance Manager Responsibilities
- Responsible for balance sheet reconciliations, prepayments, and accruals.
- Assisting in the design, implementation and management of all internal financial procedures and processes.
- Maintaining ledger accounts, verifying, and posting transactions.
- Balancing accounts on a regular basis.
- Maintaining and updating cashflow forecasts.
- Supporting with year-end.

Temporary Assistant Finance ManagerRequirements
- It is essential candidates have a strong finance background and have previously worked in a similar level role.
- Finance qualifications such as AAT or part-qualified ACCA are desirable however being qualified by experience is essential.
- You will be highly numerate with excellent attention to detail, alongside an analytical and proactive approach. Strong organisation skills and time management will be key in your success.
- Alongside a proficiency in MS Office particularly Excel, it would be highly beneficial to have prior experience using Dynamics / Nav BC.
Location
Our client is located in Oxford (OX4). Due to the central location of the offices, there is no onsite parking, however there are excellent public transport links.
This is a temporary role ongoing until the end of September and you will be required to start at short notice.
