An exciting new role has been created for a Financial Management & Reporting Manager to join our high performing finance team to support the continued growth of the business and transition to a new accounting system. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will lead a small team and play an integral role in delivering key management information and analysis, ensuring accurate reporting within deadlines. The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and experience in providing high quality management information to a range of stakeholders within the business.
We are looking for a technically strong individual, who can demonstrate the ability to build strong relationships and communicate well across the team and the wider business.
Key focus areas of your role will be:
- Responsible for the production of key internal reporting requirements, including supporting the Board reporting process, Cost centre reporting, Cashflow forecasting and Treasury reporting.
- Preparation of the group’s monthly management accounts, associated commentary and variance analysis
- Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including key highlights for escalation
- Responsible for the day-to-day tasks of the team, prioritise and escalate issues as required
- Develop strong working relationships with the business
- Assist in continued development of the financial controls & reporting
- Assist with interim and year-end audits, liaising with external auditors to support the process
- Assist with ad hoc project work as required by the business.

Qualifications, skills and experience
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with at least 3 years PQE (could suit a first time mover from practice)
- Experience of reporting within a large company or plc environment desirable
- Good understanding of IFRS frameworks
- Strong analytical skills
- Logical mindset; able to solve problems with an ‘eye for detail’
- Excellent communication skills and ability to summarise information effectively
- Organisation and time management skills with ability to prioritise
- Ability to work to tight reporting deadlines
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel
