Salary: £25,000 - £27,000
Location: Bury St Edmunds
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
A leading importer that is continuing to expand, seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant/ Stock Controller to join the team on a permanent basis at their office in Bury St Edmunds.
This is a role that would be a compete mixed position with 50% of the candidates time focussing on Accounts and 50% with stock control and your duties would include:
- Handling Accounts Payable duties
- Managing Sales Invoicing processes
- Assisting with Stock control operations
- Inventory Management
- Receiving and Inspection
- Data Entry and Documentation
- Stock Control Procedures
- Preparing and submitting VAT Returns
- Providing support for Management accounts
- Collaborating with FX and exchange rates
The ideal candidate will have a systematic approach to tasks and can ensure accuracy and efficiency in their work while possessing the ability to analyse financial data and identify patterns and trends. This would be an ideal position for any candidate that has good experience within a finance function but looking for a bit more of a varied role to incorporate the stock control side of the business. The stock control duties can be taught!
