Our 6 week Summer Internship, based in Aberdeen or London, is a great opportunity to get a taste for working at TotalEnergies Renewables and get hands on experience within your field of interest. The programme’s design is multifaceted, ensuring that you receive the opportunities and support needed to develop on a personal and professional level.
During the programme you will have an ‘intern supervisor’ to keep you right. They will make sure that you are well looked after, understand your tasks, and encourage your learning and development. You will leave us having had a great experience, with an enhanced knowledge of the energy industry. Give your theoretical understanding a practical application - gain experience far beyond a textbook!

As a TotalEnergies Intern, you will be joining our Exploration & Production Branch to help play a part in our journey to net zero.
The Position
We are looking for someone currently studying Finance or Accouting to come and join our TotalEnergies Renewables Team, bringing a fresh set of eyes and an eagerness to learn.
In this position you can expect to:
1.Supporting year end audit for 4 entities
2.Preparing and adjusting financial statements
3.Dealing with auditor queries and responding on a timely basis. This will involve pulling information from archives and providing this to EY audit team
4.Using excel files and drawing data out in tables or from databases
5.Balance sheet reconciliations review
6.Working with Financial Controller to support preparation of going concern paper
Candidate profile

- Currently studying a finance related subject at University
- Available to work in our Westhill office, situated just outside Aberdeen or Canary Wharf, London, during the summer months
- Able to exhibit strong communication skills, attention to detail, an excellent work ethic, a curiosity to learn and basic familiarity with Microsoft applications
- Candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK
