Job Description Summary
We are looking for driven Accounting Intern with basic understanding of GAAP and accounting principles and terms who is ready for real-world experience. Under supervision of our staff Accounting Intern can expect to participate in the preparation and posing journal entries, analyze actual financial data, learn about accounting system, participate with month end closing activities.Job Description
Role & Responsibility
- Management of headcount reconciliations between SAP and other applications.
- Creation of new employees in SAP
- Assist with the approval of Site cost invoices.
- Invoicing of ad-hoc SG&A costs
- Month end closing – assist with MJE accruals for site costs.
- Month end Essbase reconciliation & adjustments for backlog
- Month end analysis – updating reports for SG&A costs & variance analysis against actuals.
- Tendering forecast & actual review – responsible for creating process for the accurate forecasting and actual analysis of tendering costs.
- Collaborating with the tender function + finance functions from several Regions
- Assisting with the integration different product lines into the same backlog file
- Learn how to work as part of Finance Team and analyse data, truck information.
- Take additional projects / tasks to learn more about accounting.
Qualifications / requirements
- Finance or other internship aligned with degree program discipline.
- Knowledge of financial accounting principles
- Competent with MS Office applications
- Good analytical and forecasting skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail

- Some finance experience would be an advantage.
