This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for finance and HR administration, offering a busy, varied, and responsible role with the chance to make a meaningful impact. ***Finance & HR Officer based in a friendly and busy Primary School in Longstanton ***Actual salary £19,706 - £21,580 per annum, 40 weeks per year ***Outstanding professional development opportunities to enhance your skills in Finance and HR ***Commencing September 2023 As the Finance & HR Officer, you will be responsible for managing and processing orders, overseeing payment of invoices and school trip monies, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers. In addition, the role will encompass payroll, day-to-day accounts, reconciliation, and maintaining accurate personnel files. You will also handle updating absence records, processing ual variations, and managing the school's single central record. Working closely with the Headteacher and supported by a dedicated core team, including the Trust HR Manager and Trust Accountant, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of the school and play a vital role in its continued success. The requirements for this role are: Good educational background with GCSE or equivalent in English Language & Mathematics Prior experience working as a Finance & HR Officer in a school environment Understanding of general accounting procedures and processes Understanding of HR procedures and processes e.g. safer recruitment; absence management Competent IT user - Excel, Word and Outlook and/or Pupil Asset/SIMs Is committed, reliable and has excellent professional standards High level of accuracy when working with data This is an excellent opportunity to secure your next administrative position in a school environment.
