We are one of the country’s leading product design companies that specialises in supplying unusual and unique gifts to many top retailers around the world. Current clients include Waterstones, MoonPig, Amazon, Barnes & Noble and Urban Outfitters to name a few.
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, hands on, Finance Director to join our growing team. Reporting directly into the Managing Director you will be responsible for development and maintenance of the finance function consisting of four team members.
You will provide strategic financial support to the Management team which you would be a part of, to facilitate wider decision making and business planning. Our main markets being the UK and USA, so an understanding of USA financial systems is an advantage.

The Role:
- Developing the company’s finance function.
- Provide sound strategic and financial guidance.
- Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Create and maintain accurate forecasting tools to control future business decisions making.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
- Identify business opportunities and risks.
- Provide leadership, management and guidance to the finance team.
Skills Required:
- CIMA or CA qualified.
- operate at a strategic level with a high degree of autonomy; consistently performing to a high standard.
- Excellent planning and organisation.
- Ability to bring others together in a team environment.
- Comfortable working under pressure while completing multiple tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills to help develop close working relationships at all levels.
- Expert level in excel.
Typical Hours: 9.00am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday (part time hours), this is a hybrid role, working from home as well as the office.
