The opportunity
Reporting to the Finance & Commercial Director, during this 18month contract you will work closely with the Finance Team to build a story around moving the financial data along the maturity curve, automate data delivery and reporting, and to analyse commercial performance, with a view to supporting day to day decision making & future planning.
Your day-to-day
The focus for this role is to ensure greater visibility of financial information and supporting the need to analyse data in different ways to enable future planning and ultimately growth.
You’ll do this through:
Exposing and analysing key financial data, building out a clear picture of metrics.- Building out clear and clean visualisations and reports to support stakeholders to understand the key drivers and levers of their KPIs.
- Working with stakeholders in Finance & the Data team to help define and develop the metrics that best enable us to understand the wins and opportunities within the business and bridge the knowledge gap between the teams
- Participate in knowledge sharing, coaching colleagues, and team members, playing a key role in driving a culture of continuous development.
- Data transformation : Streamlining and automating reporting
- Understanding and visualising data in a way synonymous with high functioning departments using the latest techniques to bring data to life to the various stakeholders.
- To support and ensure a smooth transition across reporting platforms
What you’ll bring
A financial reporting background with a strong understanding of financial reporting requirements- Strong analytical skills, able to identify and interpret trends, improve financial reporting, and implement innovative solutions
- Experience with analytics and reporting with a focus on commercial and financial data
- Experience of Power BI/Data Visualization/Storytelling through data
- Collaborative approach and good relationship builder - with proven experience of stakeholder engagement.

Salary: £40,000 - £45,5000 depending on how your skills and experience align to the role, plus benefits
