Finance Business Partner – Operations

This is an exciting time at Newcastle United as we look for talented individuals to help us on our journey. To help us deliver on our plans we have a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Business Partner – Operations.
As our Finance Business Partner, you’ll work closely with our central departments to support your stakeholders with annual budgeting and reforecasting, monthly management accounts to agreed deadlines, (including variance investigation and commentary). You’ll also provide monthly KPI/BI data and event/project analysis and reporting as required.
You will also oversee VAT and employment tax accounting, submitting VAT returns and making payments within HMRC deadlines
You’ll be a qualified or part-qualified management accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with experience and ability to produce monthly accounts, budgets, and forecasts. You will ideally have a good working knowledge of corporation tax, VAT and employment tax/benefits, or be willing to undergo training in this area which will be funded by Newcastle United.
