Summary
Venture Recruitment Partners are working with an established, well-known business in Staines.
Our client is looking to recruit an Finance Assistant to join their high performing finance team in Staines on a permanent basis.
Working out of their modern, vibrant, and welcoming office in Staines, you will receive ongoing career development coaching, and which will go hand in hand with your personal career progression goals.
The Role
- Ownership of Credit Control
- Daily posting of bank payments, weekly reconciliation of bank accounts
- Review credit card expenditure, ensure spend is valid, post to GL
- Prepare and send weekly sales reporting to Group.
- Assist Finance Manager with the budget process.
- Daily Cash reporting across the Group, assisting in ensuring adequate funding across all bank accounts
- Manage Accounts Payable inbox, resolving supplier queries promptly, professionally and efficiently
- Other ad-hoc duties as needed
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes and skills:
- Excellent attention to detail, precise and accurate
- Customer focused (internal and external), professional attitude and good communication skills
- Good Excel skills - comfortable using filters, PIVOTs, and formulas such as VLOOKUP and SUMIF, etc to analyse volume data
- A team player with a can do attitude
- Flexible and open to change
- Hard working and focused
- Strong organisational, interpersonal and time management skills, with the ability to work closely with other teams within the business as required, but also the ability to be self-motivated and work independently
- Credit control experience
