Finance Assistant
Role Summary
In this role, you will provide vital support to our finance department, assisting with various financial tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes. Your duties will include purchase ledger, sales ledger, credit control, bank reconciliations, expenses and general office duties.
Main Tasks
· Accurately input financial transactions into the WinMan ERP system, such as invoices, expense reports, and ensure proper coding, documentation, and filing of financial records.
· Assisting in managing accounts payable functions, including processing vendor invoices, verifying supporting documents, and preparing payments.
· Monitoring accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding payments, and maintain accurate customer records.
· Assisting the Financial Controller where necessary with bank reconciliations to ensure accurate recording of transactions. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues identified during the reconciliation process.
· Reviewing and verifying employee expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies, prepare reimbursement requests and maintain proper documentation.
· Assisting with financial audits by preparing documentation and addressing inquiries from auditors. Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies.
· Providing general administrative support to the finance department, including filing documents, organizing records, and managing correspondence.
· Staying up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in finance.
Qualifications, Experience and Personal Attributes
Qualifications

· degree in accounting, finance or a related business courses.

· Previous experience in finance or accounting roles is desirable.
· Proficiency in MS Excel and other relevant accounting software
