Job Description:

Are you ready to join a dynamic and enthusiastic team as a Hotel Finance Assistant at The Reach at Piccadilly? If you have a passion for numbers, a knack for organisation, and a desire to work in a fast-paced, exciting environment, then this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

• Assisting the Cluster Financial Controller with day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general bookkeeping.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Processing invoices, expense reports, and payment requests in a timely manner.
• Reconciling financial discrepancies and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Assisting with the preparation of financial reports, including monthly statements, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure accurate financial information and support for various hotel initiatives.
• Supporting the finance team in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assisting with payroll administration and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Participating in inventory management and monitoring cost control measures.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar finance or accounting role.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers accurately.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

• A proactive mindset with a problem-solving attitude.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Knowledge of the hospitality industry and experience with hotel finance operations is desirable.
