The University of Law (ULaw) is one of the world's largest law schools. With an impressive history dating back to 1876, we employ over 900 staff and have over 14,000 students studying on our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, along with an alumni network in excess of 100,000.
As our student numbers increase and we diversify our programmes and portfolio, we are looking to recruit Student Finance Officers to join our Guildford campus on a 6 month fixed term basis.
As a Student Finance Officer, you will be responsible for:
- Providing a first class service with regard to the management of student and firm fees.
- Ensuring that all invoices and fees have been produced in a timely and accurate manner, and that queries are dealt with efficiently and professionally.
- Ensuring that course fees are collected in accordance with financial procedures and the terms and conditions agreed with students and firms, and that appropriate action is taken at the correct time when debts become overdue.
- Proactive telephone/text/email contact with debtors to achieve monthly collection targets and reconciliation of student and/or firm accounts on Agresso.
You will have excellent customer services and communication skills alongside meticulous attention to detail. As the team deal with an extremely high number of calls and emails you will need to be resilient and diplomatic in approach.
