Job description
What's involved with this role:
Contract to start on 31-08-23 until 27-10-23 with a possible extension.
Key Duties:
- To be responsible for assisting the Finance Manager (Capital and Treasury) in the provision of a high-quality and comprehensive range of financial advice and support services to Elected Members, Directorates, Budget Holders and other clients.
- To support the management of the functions and staff of the Section to develop solutions to financial issues raised by clients and adapt financial systems to provide information that is relevant to clients needs.
- To provide financial information to Senior Managers and Heads of Service to ensure that they are able to effectively monitor and understand progress of the capital programme and treasury management policies and strategy.
- Relevant Academic and/or Professional Qualification (e.g. CIPFA) is REQUIRED.
- Experience in advising and supporting financial and resource management, including project management is REQUIRED.
