Our client is looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to join their team in a Property & Construction company. The ideal candidate should have an Accounting AAT qualification and experience in finance.
This is an interim temporary role for 3-4 months.
The role is a mixture of hybrid and office based. You will require your own transport to attend the office.
What will you be doing?
- Process digital invoices into COINS
- Matching invoices to purchase orders where applicable
- Process daily bank movements into COINS
- Run regular supplier aged listings to allow the senior team to determine supplier payments
- Set up sundry bank payments on HSBC for items such HMRC payments
- Allocate unallocated cash against invoices.
Skills and experience:
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accountancy procedures with experience
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Knowledge of book-keeping software working within a similar role
- You will be a flexible and helpful individual
- You will be sensible enough to ask for help when stuck
