We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Finance Assistant / Accounts Administration Assistant who is a highly motivated / efficient individual, with good attention to detail and well organised, as well as competent in using Microsoft Office.
Working as the Finance Assistant / Accounts Administration Assistant you will be reporting directly into the Finance Operations Manager, supporting other roles within the team including Accounts payable, Accounts receivable, Credit control, cash and banking and some ad hoc projects as required. The role will provide you with a good foundation and understanding of finance.
As the Finance Assistant / Accounts Administration Assistant you will be opening customer accounts, checking contract details, and setting credit limits as well as opening supplier accounts.
DUTIES
Your duties as the Finance Assistant / Accounts Administration Assistant include:
Opening customer accounts, checking contract details, and setting credit limits
Opening supplier accounts
Replying to Suppliers and Customer queries in the AP and AR inbox and ticketing system
Dealing with Customers Purchase Orders so a good understanding is needed
Answering and actioning calls both internally and externally
Working with Customer portals uploading invoices
Taking card payments for customers
Raising of ad-hoc sales invoices
Filing of Accounts documentation
Holiday cover for cash and banking
Helping AP post supplier invoices when needed
General help within the Finance team

Good working knowledge of Microsoft office (Excel, Outlook and Word in particular)
