The Milner Therapeutics Institute (MTI) is seeking to recruit a part-time Finance Assistant. The MTI is unique working environment with start-up businesses, academics and pharma companies working side by side across shared office and laboratory space. The MTI works at the cutting edge of industry and academia to enable and deliver collaborative research, strategic projects and accelerate therapeutic companies- bringing discoveries to life.
This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for a motivated individual to work closely with the Finance Coordinator, Business Operations manager and the wider Operations team to ensure that the Institute's financial processes run smoothly, and it can deliver its overall objectives, you will also become part of a pioneering, forward-thinking and strategic workforce.
The role will assist with purchase orders, expense claims, processing AP & AR invoices, ,suppliers and customers while maintaining an accurate filing system for record. Be a first point of contact for finance queries and provide advice as well as providing documentation and spreadsheets to the team.
The Finance Assistant position is part-time 18 hours per week in a hybrid capacity, details can be discussed at interview and offer stage.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 2 years in the first instance.
