Job Summary
We are looking for a Finance Assistant on part time permanent basis to join our Finance team.
As a member of our friendly and fast-paced team, you will support the transactional elements of our finance function, including sales and purchase ledger, month end activities and general administrative support.
The role will work in hybrid manner where you will work both from our office in Leicester and from home.
What you will be doing:
- Ensure cash receipts are recorded and posted accurately into the accounting system daily
- Ensure bank account reconciliations are carried out weekly
- Create new vendors and customers in the accounting system
- Carry out regular credit control and debtor account maintenance
- Raise sales invoices and credit memos and process refunds
- Ensure purchase orders are raised correctly and in a timely manner
- Process staff expenses and supplier invoices and credit notes and prepare BACS payment runs ensuring payments are made within agreed terms
- Carry out assigned month end functions
- Resolve queries from internal and external customers in a timely manner
- Support the LEAD (Finance) with credit card and healthcare administration
- All other assigned administration or transactional tasks
- Contribute to Finance operational planning to support NEBOSH in achieving their business goals
About You:
Our ideal candidate will have the following experience, but it is more important to us that our team members have the right attitude.
- Experience of working within a Finance department or office environment is desirable
- Must have good working knowledge of Microsoft office, particularly Excel

Salary:
Based on FTE £24,106.25 per annum.
We would consider 17.5 - 20 hours per week.
