The Role
Our Central Team are critical for ensuring Leeds Mind runs smoothly and makes best use of our resources. The successful post holder will be a motivated individual who will work with the Finance Lead to ensure tasks relating to the finance of the organisation are carried out efficiently, accurately and in a timely manner. This vacancy is due to internal promotion.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- GSCE English and Maths (or equivalent) at grade C/4 or above
- Good level of IT skills, proficient with Microsoft Office programmes (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of basic financial procedures, policies, and accounting code structures
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and customer care skills
- Able to meet deadlines and balance demands of workload
- Ability to work on own initiative without detailed direction
- Handling confidential information in an administrative setting, in line with data protection legislation
- Performing control account reconciliations including bank reconciliations
- Tracing transactions from a management information system to an accounting system and vice versa

Hours – 22.5
Scale - NJC Scale 5 points 12 to 17
Salary - £24,496 - £26,845 per annum, pro rata
Contract – 4-6 months fixed term contract
