Jackson Hogg are delighted to be working with a company based in Billingham on the position of a Finance Graduate Assistant.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES
- Sales Order processing, production job card generation, updating the monthly sales forecast, communicating with customers.
- Creating purchase orders, placing orders for raw materials, equipment and consumables. Liaising with existing and new suppliers; ensuring timely delivery of goods and accuracy of consignments; informing lab staff of delivery delays.
- Generation of shipping documentation for the UK and Export market; arranging delivery and courier services.
- Tracking of goods in transit and ensuring on-time delivery; liaising with customs and goods-in departments.
- Providing a professional first point of contact to the organisation via the telephone switchboard and to company visitors.
- Providing Admin support and assistance to the Managing Director and Sales team.
- Providing routine and ad-hoc support to the Financial Controller including issuing sales invoices, inputting purchase invoices to the ledger, debt chasing, month-end reconciliations and ad-hoc analysis & reporting.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
An interest in business/accountancy/finance and science is important, and the applicant should have some experience in and/or study related to a business, finance or other admin-based role. Strong IT skills are necessary, particularly in the use of Excel and Word.

Salary: £21,000.00 per hour
