WS & Co is a fully outsourced accountancy provider for clients in the hospitality industry, with multiple offices in the UK & one in the US. We are looking for a Finance Assistant to provide support to our MD and join the internal finance team to assist with internal policies and procedures.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Project support for systems development and other projects.
- Liaising with HMRC, clients and the management team
- Problem solving
- Assist in the audit process by providing information and data as requested
- Complete administrative tasks, such as filling out paperwork and filing records
- Answer questions from co-workers, clients, customers, or stakeholders regarding financial information or issues.
- Maintain electronic filing system
- Provide general admin support
- Assisting with internal finance reports and management account
- Liaising with the internal finance team
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Client financial Model management
- Experience with Diary management
- Admin support to MD
- Note taking in finance meetings with clients
- Accompany MD to finance meetings
ABOUT YOU:
- Proactive and Dynamic problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Incredible attention to detail to catch errors
- Ability to deal with problematic clients in a diplomatic manner
- Familiarity with accounting software
- Strong IT skills and the ability to work competently with all Microsoft Office packages, including Outlook, Word, Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Well organised with the ability to multi-task
- Flexible
- Experience of working in a hospitality or accountancy environment is preferable, however not essential
- Right to live and work in the UK
