Finance Assistant
Location: London, Richmond

Whiskey & Wealth Club is growing at a rapid rate; we recently opened an office in Sydney, Australia and will soon be opening an office in the US. The company culture is very much one of "work hard and play hard". We regularly have social events with nights out, all expenses covered, and the offices in London are lively and spacious with a pool table and two bars!
The successful Office Manager’s duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Post purchase & sales invoices, journals, staff expenses
- Bank reconciliations
- Manage AP inbox on a daily basis
- Assisting with the preparation and production of weekly, fortnightly and monthly staff wages
- Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices and account statements according to company procedures.
- Follow up and resolve past due accounts and vendor invoices until payment in full is received or resolved.
- Prepare daily consolidated deposits of cash received by all cash-handling employees.
- Document, maintain, communicate, and act upon all Cash Variances. Prepare, maintain, and administer all cashier banks and contracts.
- Complete period-end closing procedures and reports as specified.
Key skills and competencies:
- A degree in Finance or Business
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Proactive, hands-on approach
- Ability to organise, multitask, prioritise, and communicate effectively
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
It would be an advantage if you:
- Are familiar with Xero/ Netsuite accounting software
- Studying towards CIMA/ ACCA/ AAT

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £23,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
