Primary Responsibilities
Finance
Support credit control, crisis care, banking, gift aid and 500 Club in line with WMRSASC policies.- Ensure accurate, timely record keeping and input onto Sage.
- Process supplier invoices and expenses for staff and volunteers.
- Prepare and distribute sales invoices.
- Accurately maintain customer and supplier accounts.
- Administer online banking including BACS payments and reconciliations.
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly staff payroll and pension contributions.
- Assist with monthly management accounts, including producing reports.
- Support with annual audit.
Administrative and HR
Provide administrative support to the Finance and HR department.- Ensure accurate record keeping and input onto Breathe HR.
- Process Disclosure and Barring Service Checks for new employees and renewals for current staff, including online checks.
- Maintain records of employee insurance, DBS and BACP (if relevant).
- Assist with annual leave calculations.
- Deal with enquiries via telephone, email, postal systems and in person.
- Order equipment, stationery and office supplies as required.
General
Be familiar with all aspects of the Centre’s work.- Work flexibly as a member of the team and be responsive to changing needs.
- Undertake relevant training as required.
- Work within the policies and procedures of WMRSASC and demonstrate a commitment to the values and ethos of the centre.
- Maintain agreed levels of confidentiality
- Participate in individual supervision, appraisal sessions and team meetings.
