Being a Front of House Manager at Campanile hotel Glasgow SECC-Hydro Hotel

As Head Receptionist you will have great leadership qualities, be polite, calm and have the ability to make every guest feel like a VIP. You will have excellent communication skills and always act professionally. You will most likely be the first and last person the guests see, so lasting impressions play a big part of this role.
As a Front of House Manager you will be involved in duties such as:
- Carry out the role of Duty Manager where required-
-Ensure the group brand standards are respected - Enforce use of the SOP. Make sure that the corporate guideline are respected
- Manage petty cash & expenses
- Manage travel agent commission
- Manage debtor accounts - Invoice contracted company. Chase debtor
- Invoice individual guest & group payment
- Run End of day reports
- Manage cash handling & deposit
- Inspire the team
- Participate in the recruitment - Define recruitment needs. Recruit employees
Knowledge and Skills required:
Training
- Advanced knowledge of hospitality
Experience
- Prior experience (1 year) in a branded environment as a supervisor/manager in hospitality
Expertise
(job-knowledge, technical skills)
- Confident with Microsoft office
- Advanced knowledge of PMS (e.g.: opera)
- Knowledge of health & safety procedures
- Good knowledge of Revenue Management
- Ability to understand & follow guidelines
- Fluent in English
- Additional language
