We are looking for 5 Finance Assistants – Accounts Receivable
The Opportunity:
We are looking for 5 Finance Assistants to join our Accounts Receivable Team, which forms part of the new Finance Operations team structure. Finance Operations has been created as part of an organisational transformation programme and aims to provide a consistent, high-quality service to the University and external customers. The team brings together Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and banking activities into one expert team with consistent processes, systems and policies.
Your skills and attributes for success:
You will be positive and extremely customer focused with good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to deal confidently with a diverse customer base.
You should ideally have solid credit control and sales ledger experience as well as strong IT skills, be able to work consistently to extremely tight deadlines whilst demonstrating a thorough understanding of financial controls.

About the Team
The Receivables Team is a highly motivated, enthusiastic group responsible for the timely collection of University income from students and customers, accurate transaction processing to the sales ledgers, maintenance of the customer account database, liaising with University departments and assisting with payment queries.
