The role:
We are searching for an enthusiastic Finance Assistant. This is an amazing opportunity for someone who has at least one years' experience in a finance role, ideally processing high volume of supplier invoices. Within this position you will be supporting the finance team with finance processes and general administrative duties. Support may be available for the right candidate to study towards their AAT qualification.
We are happy to consider this role on a temp to perm basis, full time hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Data input.- Process supplier invoices and credit notes into accounting systems.
- Process and input of expenses claims.
- Preparation of payment runs.
- Maintain daily cash books
- Daily bank reconciliation process.
- Maintain ledgers and reconciliation of balances.
- Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as required
Skills and experience:
A good level of education is required (minimum GCSE maths and English)- At least one years experience in a finance position
- A great working attitude ability and an ability to build relationships
- Strong Computer skills including excel
- Organised
- Attention to detail
- Reliable time keeping and work ethic
