The Finance team are at the centre of our organisation. They are responsible for ensuring efficient financial management and financial controls necessary to support our business activity.

The Finance Assistant will support the Financial Controller and CFO in developing the finance function and meeting the needs of the business whilst delivering strategic growth in the future.
Main ResponsibilitiesThis is a varied role that will include the following responsibilities;
- Sales Ledger Management (all aspects including raising invoices, chasing debtors, resolving queries, and, controlling aged debts).
- Managing the Purchase Ledger (including posting invoices, setting up suppliers, reconciling supplier statements, liaising with suppliers, and making payments).
- Maintenance of our General Ledger and contributing to Management Accounts reporting and process.
- Bank Reconciliations.
- Processing employee expenses.
- Preparing Bank payments.
- Assisting with the monthly payroll.
- Working closely with the Financial Controller to support all aspects of finance within Tribepad.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working in Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger.
- Knowledge of finance systems and legal requirements.
- Ability to work under your own initiative and manage workload effectively.
Whilst not essential it would be helpful if you have:
- Knowledge/experience of Payroll.
- Experience of Xero software.
- Accounting Qualification such as AAT or similar.
