Finance Assistant
Hybrid – Andover/WFH (up to 3 days a week)
Full time/Part time (min 30h per week)
Salary: £23-25k DOE

Wren Laboratories is a successful family-run business that have been serving their customers since 2004. Based in Andover, Hampshire they are the UK’s leading probiotics company called ‘Optibac Probiotics’. The company is committed to producing high quality products, providing excellent customer service, and creating a supportive and inspiring workplace.
They are now recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join their finance team in supporting the business accounting activities. The successful candidate will enjoy a hands-on role where accuracy, efficiency and organisation will be paramount.
Finance Assistant, the role:
· Inputting purchase ledger invoices into NetSuite
· Reconciling bank accounts
· Managing bank payments
· Raising and paying invoices
· Handling credit control
· Supporting telesales as needed
· Chasing purchase orders
· Processing expenses
· Supporting with managing the Finance Inbox
Finance Assistant, the person:
· Previous experience of working as a Finance Assistant or similar
· Experience of working in an FMCG or business environment
· Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles
· Working towards a professional qualification would be desirable (AAT, ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
· Confident in Microsoft Office
· Willing to learn and pick up new processes
· High attention to detail for accurate data entry
· Ability to confidently communicate at all levels, both written and verbal
Finance Assistant, the benefits:

This is a full time, permanent role with working hours of 40 hours per week. Part time hours may be considered. Up to 3 days a week of homeworking will be allowed.
