Job Description
The key responsibilities of the Finance Assistant include but are not limited to:
- Review outstanding invoices and prepare Better Payment Practice Code (BPPC) report
- Produce and complete Supplier setup requests as and when required
- Reconcile control accounts for Statement of Financial Position codes
- Investigate unallocated income and advise correct allocation or budget code
- Ensure VAT claim is submitted in a timely and accurate manner
- Produce and upload the Accounts Payable Collection return
- Support the production of the monthly agency cost analysis reconciliation
- General Finance Administration
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a finance environment
- Knowledge and understanding of financial services processes
- Knowledge of Integra Financial System
- Use of financial ledger and reporting packages
- Have good Microsoft Excel skills

The candidate can expect a competitive salary FTE £21-24,000 (doe) + 27 days annual leave excluding bank holidays pro rated + hybrid, flexible working available (after training) + an immediate start + a potential for a permanent role
