Shift Leader

Position Summary:
The Shift Leader is responsible for managing the front of house operations to ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for all guests. Responsibilities also include managing the dining room staff, ensuring food prep is completed, and to ensure all dishes are correctly served at the table according to guest expectations. The ideal candidate will have experience with managing a front of house staff and delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all front of house operations including dining room staff, meal prep, food service, and dishwashing.
- Ensure all dishes are correctly served at the table according to guest expectations.
- Manage guest relations by providing excellent customer service.
- Manage cash handling procedures and procedures for credit card payment.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations.
- Maintain proper cash drawer control and record all cash transactions.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant including sweeping, mopping, dusting, etc.
- Assist in maintaining the overall appearance of the restaurant by maintaining all equipment, walls, flooring, lightings, furniture etc. to company standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management or supervisor.
Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in a restaurant or other customer service environment preferred. Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues both verbally and written. Must be able to stand for long periods of time bending, reaching etc. Must be able to work on your feet for long periods of time on a regular basis on your feet as you walk from table to counter or elsewhere throughout restaurant.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
