Your role in a nutshell…

The Finance Assistant will be responsible for assisting with the delivery of day to day financial and transactional matters, building up to timely submission of monthly management accounts for part of the Mandata Group.

The Finance Assistant assists the rest of the Finance team in improving & delivering efficient month end process and financial processes, internal reporting and ensuring transactional level work is undertaken appropriately.

They will be a key part of the team responsible for improving operational efficiency, systems, process and reporting.

The responsibilities we’ll trust you with…

  • Assisting with the day-to-day finance matters alongside the wider finance team, working closely with other members of the team.
  • Working with the finance team, ensuring deadlines are achieved and developing a culture in line with the Mandata values.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely financial information, building up to various aspects of month end reporting.
  • Balance sheet management to mitigate risks and identify opportunities. Key focus on detailed preparation of all balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Management of key end to end system and transactional processes, including, but not limited to, the revenue cycle.
  • Dealing with customer queries.
  • Any other ad-hoc support as required by the Financial Controller.

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially excel.
  • Good communication and data manipulation skills.
  • A commitment towards delivering quality customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to interact with staff effectively at all levels.
