Magic Roundabout Nurseries Ltd (MRN) is a leading childcare provider based in London and Bristol, with over 27 years in the industry. We are a small but growing organisation that is looking to expand Head Office operations.

We are looking for a passionate individual (new or experienced graduate) to fill our Finance Assistant vacancy and join our head office team. Former experience is ideal. The successful candidate will have the following desirable skills:

  • Ability to deal with people at different levels within the organisation
  • Good team player who is willing to listen and take new ideas on board
  • Needs to have a professional and proactive approach
  • Flexibility to adapt to different situations.
  • Ability to quickly assess and resolve problems.
  • Intermediate Excel skills and fully proficient in using Microsoft Word.
  • A Degree in a relevant discipline is required.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coding of all purchase invoices and entering onto accounts system
  • Processing of all customer invoicing
  • Responsible for supplier payment runs
  • Completing daily reconciliations of bank accounts for multiple sites
  • Credit Control and dealing with all parent finance queries
  • Reconciliation of company credit card expenses
  • Responsible for dealing with all company contractors
  • Dealing with customer debt collection
  • Management of the Health and Safety compliance for multiple sites
  • Other ad hoc duties as required
