Job Role: Finance Assistant - 3 Month FTC, with possibility of going perm
Reports to: Director of Finance
Salary: £25,000
Location: Remote - Work Anywhere in the UK
Start Date: ASAP

Finance Assistant
We are looking to add an experienced, committed, and enthusiastic Finance Assistant to our friendly Finance Team at Lexxic on a 3 Month FTC, with the possibility of going permanent. We are interested in hearing from candidates that can handle a high volume financial admin work with the ability to quickly switch priorities between workloads.
What you’ll be doing:
- Uploading invoices and reviewing Xero accounting software.
- Reconciliation of supplier statements and balance sheet.
- Working on daily, weekly and monthly management information reporting cycles.
- Completing allocated balance sheet reconciliations to a monthly timetable.
- Providing general support to the day-to-day finance control.
- Liaising with internal departments in a professional and supportive manor.
- Helping to develop excellent financial procedures.
- Reporting on budgets and allocations.
- Ensuring effective, accurate and timely response to queries and resolving exceptions with suppliers and business.
- Processing invoices and credit notes.
Must Have:
- Experience of Xero accounting software
- Experience of payables and receivables
- Ability to work independently
- Strong understanding of accounting practice
Nice to Have:
- Experience of using Sugar CRM
- Experience of working in an SME environment
